LeBron James leads Heat past Pacers in Game 1

Last night, the Indiana Pacers pushed the Miami Heat to the edge. The game went back-and-forth throughout, and just when it seemed like the Heat were going to close it out with a pair of Ray Allen free throws, he missed one of two. This opened the door for an improbable game-tying three from Paul George, which forced the game into overtime. In OT, George and LeBron James battled it out, going basket-for-basket down the stretch. But in the end, ┬áit was James who had the last laugh, gliding to the rim for the game-winning layup as time expired to give the Heat a 1-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference Finals. Check out the NBA’s “Phantom” video of the battle between Paul George and LeBron James last night. The series continues with Game 2 in Miami on Friday night at 8:30pm.
